Classic White Marble countertops are available through Bella Construction for kitchen and bathroom
projects across Charlotte and the surrounding Metro area.

A white marble with fine, evenly distributed gray veining in the Carrara tradition. Quiet and consistent, it reads as a light background rather than a statement piece.

About marble as a countertop surface

Marble is calcium-based, so acids etch it. Lemon juice, wine and some cleaners leave dull marks even through a sealer. Many owners accept that patina as part of the look, but if you want a surface that stays pristine, a marble-look porcelain or quartz is the safer specification. We seal marble at installation and recommend resealing annually.

Choosing your slab

This is the part that cannot be done from a photo. Natural stone is quarried in blocks, and no
two slabs are identical. Veining shifts, background tone shifts, and a pattern that looks subtle
in a small sample can be dramatic across a ten-foot island. That is why we take clients to the
slab yard to select and tag the actual pieces that will go in their home.

We also lay out the seams with you before fabrication. On a large kitchen, where a seam falls
matters as much as the stone itself. Putting it in a low-traffic corner instead of the middle of
the island is a decision worth five minutes of your time.

Edges, thickness and cutouts for Classic White Marble countertops

Slabs come in two and three centimeter thickness. Edge profiles run from a simple eased square
to bevels, bullnose and mitered waterfall ends. Sink and cooktop cutouts are templated digitally
after the cabinets are set, which is why Classic White Marble countertops are one of the last items installed in a
remodel.
